Happy Bird Summer Camp 2023
This summer, we have two weeks of camp scheduled for 4-10 year olds, which will run 9:30am-3:30pm the weeks of August 14 and 21. We may add a July camp, so you can let us know if that is of interest and we can add you to the waitlist.
We are still planning the activities, but our daily schedule will look something like this:
9:30 am arrival, mini music lesson
10:00 am outside games and freeplay
11:00 am composer discovery, guided listening during craft time
12:00 pm lunch, freeplay
1:00 pm relaxing time: books, colouring
1:30 pm music & movement (yoga based)
2:00 pm singing class: funny voice exercises to warm up your voice, favourite pop and Disney selections
2:30 pm outdoor experiment/craft
3:00 pm outdoor playtime
Our camp ratio will be 5:1 with a maximum of 15 kids. The cost for the week is $300. Before and after care will be available 7:30-9:30 am and 3:30-6:00 pm for an additional $10/hr. Aftercare will be a quiet time that includes a snack and a movie while teachers prepare for the fun of the next day!
Cancellation policy
We will provide a 100% credit towards Sept-June lessons at the studio if cancelled before June 30 and a 75% credit after June 30. As we are not a big camp like Dovercourt and our registrations determine our staffing planning, we can only offer refunds under extenuating circumstances.
